Classes – Adult & Children

Ongoing Open Studio – Figure Drawing Tuesday Nights | 7pm-10pm

(Drop-in $15 Cash Payment only) 

An ongoing class that has been in operation for the past 20 years for adults. Paint portraits from a live model and figure from a nude model. Poses are for 3 hours and all media are welcome. A social break from 8:30 to 8:45 is included. All levels are welcome and many experienced artists are willing to share advice on their techniques. Must be 21 years of age or older. The QAA reserves the right to modify or reschedule classes in accordance to circumstances, both private and public, which may impact the health and safety of our community, members, teachers and students.

Parking

  • Metered parking on the street

  • Paid parking in the President’s Parking Lot located on Seville Ave. From either direction, look for the National Park Visitors Center on the corner of Hancock St. & Seville Ave. to park. The QArts Gallery is directly across the street from the National Park Visitors Center and Quincy College.

  • Weekends: Free parking behind the QArts Gallery in the MBTA lot. From either direction look for Starbuck’s on the end of our block on Hancock St. At that traffic light turn into the MBTA entrance and parking lot. You will need to walk a short distance around to the gallery’s front entrance on Hancock Street.
