About the event

This is a short 2 hour workshop on origami hearts crafting.

During the class, all attendees with all learn how to fold three origami objects. We will begin with a simple origami heart, then work our way up to an origami heart with a bow, and lastly an origami heart bookmark! This class is suitable for beginners but all levels are welcome. All

supplies will be provided. You will leave the class with 3 origami creations. These creations are perfect to keep for yourself or to give to family and friends.

Parking

  • Metered parking on the street

  • Paid parking in the President’s Parking Lot located on Seville Ave. From either direction, look for the National Park Visitors Center on the corner of Hancock St. & Seville Ave. to park. The QArts Gallery is directly across the street from the National Park Visitors Center and Quincy College.

  • Weekends: Free parking behind the QArts Gallery in the MBTA lot. From either direction look for Starbuck’s on the end of our block on Hancock St. At that traffic light turn into the MBTA entrance and parking lot. You will need to walk a short distance around to the gallery’s front entrance on Hancock Street.
