Service Description

An understanding of tonal values and the ability to use photos and assembled objects as visual references to be captured on a 2-dimensional surface is explored. A choice of group and/or personal projects, along with individual attention at all levels will be offered, as well as demos, instruction in sight-sizing, tonal values and basic linear perspective. Other subjects may be covered as time and interest allow.

Parking

  • Metered parking on the street

  • Paid parking in the President’s Parking Lot located on Seville Ave. From either direction, look for the National Park Visitors Center on the corner of Hancock St. & Seville Ave. to park. The QArts Gallery is directly across the street from the National Park Visitors Center and Quincy College.

  • Weekends: Free parking behind the QArts Gallery in the MBTA lot. From either direction look for Starbuck’s on the end of our block on Hancock St. At that traffic light turn into the MBTA entrance and parking lot. You will need to walk a short distance around to the gallery’s front entrance on Hancock Street.
